Gym Chain vs. Results

This article is remarkably like a headline from The Onion. Planet Fitness employee requests someone cover up her clearly successful results of exercising.

Gym tells woman to cover up because her 'toned body' intimidated others


  1. Planet Fitness is pretty offensive with their commercials and stuff like this:
    "Posters are said to define a lunk as “one who grunts, drops weights, or judges.”
    I guess they don't care about denigrating certain people as long as they can potentially get more customers?

    1. Their niche is clearly casual exercises who don't show up that often. It's a big niche, but as a trainer, it's really upsetting. It's like being a doctor and having a chain clinic that just treats your symptoms but doesn't care if you get well or not - and actively discourages it.
